Not Now

If anything can go wrong, it will.

Well I am in the middle of a crisis, completely uncalled for.
My mind must have been out somewhere else, on the 6th day of the cycle, as per my calculations it was a safe day.
Well my partner thinks I f&@#ed up, literally.

Now dear reader, please enlighten me how exactly does one calculate the safe days.
This is what I know.

14 days from the day of the beginning of the cycle, ova is produced. Plus minus 24 hours.
Male sperm has a life of 48 hrs, I will add another 24 to be on the safer side.
So 14-3=11, logically that should be the max. limit of safe days.
This was only the 6th day, and even if did stay for another 96 hrs. Or 4 days, I would still reach only the 10th day.
Am I safe?

I wished a friend happy Rakhi today,
