There have been Years when I have gladly
bid them good riddance.
Not this one, this one has been overwhelmingly
full of pleasant surprises and it is imperative that I thank everyone,
including GOD.
This year began with getting rid of my Gall
bladder, which had been the cause of many of my ills for last years. I was
told all that years of sulking had led to those acids forming into stone. Well
I have gotten rid of it. Sulking, I am trying to get rid of.
I did manage to get the worst score with my new
found love, Golf. I was the Wooden spoon holder this year, at the Patna Golf
Club. The solace was, it can’t get worse than this.
Like I would have ever foreseen it, our family of
four is playing four ball.
We managed to start the School, back at our
village, much needed and much awaited by the locals. This was besides the note-bandi. We managed with loads of hiccups, to form a
brilliant and humble team, which worked relentlessly, consistently and totally
self motivated. The efforts of this year, the founding year shall show in the
years to come.
Both my kids managed to be at the same
institution, which was not easy. The income tax had frozen my accounts and
note-bandi had killed the cash out of market. That entire accumulated hefty fee
could only be paid by the end of the year, but we managed.
We decided to set up a hospital and started
working on it, this was and this surely won’t be easy but who needs easy.
Deciding was the tough part.
As a family we took our first long road trip, 4200
kms, with my in-laws. It was rather brave and enduring experience. We all
gained.
This year was perhaps the best Diwali of my
life. Things that I had just dreamt of
all these years, like droplets of dew on flowers just gathered and added to my
garden of memories.
Small and big various unexpected moments,
heartfelt conversations, people, person, places, travels and hope.
This is as good as it gets..!
The next year looks full of challenges and hopes,
which surely is a wonderful thing to look forward to.
Heartfelt Gratitude.
Thank YOU… all, Thank you that …One…!
